Our history

Eurofrutta is a family-run fruit and vegetable delivery business based in New Covent Garden, which has been supplying the best quality fresh and dried produce to eateries in London for over 40 years. Eurofrutta began life as a one-man operation back in the 1960s, when, while working at several busy London restaurants, waiter Bruno Fulgoni recognised the need for an improvement in the quality and variety of the fruit and vegetables being supplied and set about providing the service himself.

From the back of a small van chugging its way around the West End a business was born and before long a steady, loyal clientele built up as Eurofrutta established a reputation for delivering high-quality, well-priced produce and a unique relationship with the customer, personified by the larger-than-life Bruno.

In the 1980s Eurofrutta settled in New Covent Garden Market, the first port of call for all of the capital's imported fruit and veg, and Bruno's son Danny came on board to learn the trade and help the company develop into one of the leading grocery distributors in London.

Eurofrutta now delivers fruit, vegetables, dairy and other provisions to schools and offices around London as well as restaurants, bars and cafés and our aim is to continue growing as a company, while maintaining the core values that have been intrinsic to our development; namely providing a wide range of quality produce, guaranteeing dependable, punctual delivery and, most importantly of all, listening to, understanding and meeting the needs of our customers.
