Important Notice — Basil Supply Disruption

Fresh basil leaves with raindrops

We are writing to let you know that fresh basil supply to Europe has been severely disrupted due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

Flights from Israel — our primary source — have been drastically reduced. At the same time, heavy rains in Kenya have damaged crops, further reducing available supply. Overall basil availability in Europe is currently well under half of normal volumes.

What this means for your orders:

  • All basil orders will be subject to reduced volumes until further notice.
  • In some cases, we may be unable to supply basil at all. We will notify you as early as possible if this affects your order.
  • Pricing may fluctuate due to volatile freight and fuel costs.

We are working with our supply partners daily to secure every available kilogram and will update you as the situation develops. The European domestic growing season is approaching, which should help ease supply in the coming weeks.

We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
