Egg prices

New EU legislation regarding the space hens are required to be kept in came into force on Jan 1st. None of our european neighbours prepared for this and as such there is now a shortage of eggs europe wide. The result has been a doubling of prices in recent weeks. This is set to continue unfortunately in the short term. There will also be a knock on effect to other products that contain eggs such as cakes, ice cream etc.  We will as always try to give you the best possible price and as soon as the wholesale price drops we will adjust our prices accordingly. I have provided a few links for you to see as it has been heavily featured in the news recently.
